Help has come!
For those of you with smaller ambitions, please check out our new eDesign services. We offer online and hybrid in-home interior space consultations from only $200.
Enjoy! And may your space bring you balance and joy!

THE COMPLETED PROJECT
Modern Coastal Canyon House
EXTERIOR INTEREST
Our wish was a house with rhythm; a house with vibe. What was not wanted was a straight block of concrete abutting the street. Working with the fabulous Tyler Van Stright of JLC Architecture enabled us to come up with this concept.
ORIENTATION
Due to the tight constraints of the lot, we chose to configure our house on a diagonal orientation to the street in an "L Shape" form. This proved to maximize ocean views, while also enabling more privacy.
AN UPSIDE-DOWN HOUSE
The "Upside-Down" floorplan of the home is idea for capturing views. We made sure to capture views from as many positions as possible, thanks to the use of large Western Windows along the staircase and in the kitchen.
INSIDE-OUT AND OUTSIDE IN
As a home by the ocean in Southern California, Western Window System's Multislide doors were ideal. When opened, they create an almost 10 foot opening out to the largest portion of our deck, creating an outside-in (or inside-out) environment--ideal for beach living.
